In Memory Of Ben Stoner Aka Jamin
Ben Stoner

Ben, one of my many "kids" you walked in to my life that is something that has never happen when I mentor a driver. I walk into their lives, I pick them up and dust them off, you came to me. You came to me the most unusual way, you talked to the right person who knew of someone that could help. I received a call from a frighten farm boy asking for a favor. Ben, the simple words "I walked away from rolling a truck can you help me". I had to see the man that could walk away from death and win.

We met one sunny day on the farm to discuss your life. I didn't have many options for you just one. I placed you in goods hands of a friend he brought back your smile, I watched you from a far become the driver you always wanted to be. You saved your money, bought yourself a used truck & flatbed. You started on your own, I was always there to answer your questions, sometimes it was tough love but you prospered. Even when you walked away, the words of hatred spilled from your mouth I let you go for I knew one day you'd be back.

You came back to me less than a year ago with news that I never want to hear. Your days were marked and you life on earth was short.I only heard one thing that day ..... "will you hold me in your arms until I take my last breath". My answer was simple .... I held you that day and every day, I kept you close. I grieve your passing and miss you from my life. You Ben, have made a mark on my heart, but you have also made a mark on my partner. I don't know how you too got close, she never let any of the "kids" get close to her but you walked into her life much like you walked into mine. Your love of life that you shared for those who you called "brothers & sisters" was a gift that you pass on.

As we roll down the highway you are never far from us. We can see your smile in the sunrise and the sparkle of your eye in the sunset. You have touched so many lives in such a short time. As we scatter your ashes in your favorite spot we willI weep with joy for you have pass to a much better place that we can only imagine.

Our road will cross again and at that time I will walk into your arms Ben, I will let you comfort me. Your passing reminds me of what life is all about. It's about sharing all that I have. Thank you for walking into my life Ben.
